GENERATIONAL MINDSET

ABOUT
Evergreen Minerals ("Evergreen") serves as a Dallas-based private investment office and management platform. We acquire minerals the way a rancher acquires land — to keep them. That mindset shapes every decision we make, from the assets we pursue to the partners we work with.
The Evergreen name reflects that philosophy: long-term ownership and the disciplined reinvestment of cash flow to compound value over time.
Every transaction Evergreen has completed traces back to a relationship — built on a handshake.

INVESTMENTS
Inclusive of our predecessors and affiliates, Evergreen has completed over 450 mineral and royalty transactions, totaling more than $170MM in value. Today, it manages interests in 200 counties and 17 states. Evergreen invests for its own account and alongside co-invest partners. It opportunistically seeks properties ranging from $100K to $20MM that provide quality production with upside.
Evergreen serves as a management platform—title to all mineral and non-op assets is acquired and held through our active holding companies and investment partnership:

LEADERSHIP
In 2010, during the early years of the shale boom, Charlie Matter was brought into the oil and gas business by his good friend and early mentor, Austin Eudaly, who was instrumental in shaping his career. He later partnered with industry investors to lay the groundwork for what has become Evergreen.
That path also continued a four-generation family connection to the oil and gas business. His great-great-grandfather, WB Corlett, led the lease department of the Texas Company (later Texaco). He later became an independent operator, working across the Waggoner Ranch, Ranger Field, and North Texas. His great-grandfather, TC Moss, was an executive with General American Transportation Corporation. His grandfather, Lester Matter, was a Dallas independent operator active in the Goose Creek Field in Southeast Texas.
Evergreen operates with a lean core team and trusted third-party expertise, providing strong capabilities in property evaluation, title, transaction due diligence, and mineral management.
